Name of Project:
“Source Code Informational Poster”About the Project:
This piece is an informational/ explanatory poster done for the movie Source Code as part of the course work for an Information Design class. As it is a movie with multiple replays of the same eight minutes it was essential to show the confusing plot of the movie in a non-linear method to enable to viewer to see where the differences between each of the runs lay.Designed, researched, written and illustrated in 2012 by Sarah Hunt
Challenges:
The major challenge of this project was to research and figure out all of the points that needed to be represented on the chart. The actual construction of the poster was also quite difficult and took several hours of bending over a screen to get all of points just right. Representing multiple bit characters was an interesting challenge which I overcame by assigning each character a different colour to represent them on the chart rather than typing their names out individually.Included in this project was:
● A single 20x24” poster
